Jean M. Gehrke

Jean M. Gehrke, age 89, of Oshkosh, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018. Private services will be held, and burial will take place in Lake View Memorial Park.
She was born in Oshkosh on September 16, 1928 to the late Mitchell and Viola (Flack) Sommerfeldt. Jean received both her bachelor's and teaching degrees in english from UW-Oshkosh, was a life-long reader, loved music, and was a devoted mother.
She was preceded in death by her husband Francis Gehrke and son Stefan Gehrke. She is survived by daughter Lise Gehrke, and sons Franz Gehrke, Maxim (Christina) Gehrke, and Jules (Anne) Gehrke. Grandchildren are Cassandra Griese, Brandon Gehrke, Margaret Gehrke, and Elizabeth Gehrke.
