Jeffrey L. Healey, age 70, of Oshkosh, WI, passed away peacefully at his home on September 24, 2025.
Jeffrey was born on March 7, 1955, in Ishpeming, MI, the son of the late Joseph and Jeanne (Lehtonen) Healey. He graduated from Ishpeming High School in 1973 and went on to work for CCI and later the Keebler Cookie Company.
Jeff played many sports in his younger years. He was an avid runner and loved playing basketball. He especially cherished his time on the golf course, particularly when playing with his sons and nephews. One of his favorite traditions was participating in the annual tournament at Wawonowin.
Jeff loved being outdoors, especially at the family camp on Helen Lake. Many treasured memories were made at camp over the years. He looked forward to hunting camp in the fall and "Boys' Camp" in the summer. Days at camp were spent shooting hoops, playing horseshoes, swimming, fishing, sitting by the campfire, and enjoying saunas. Jeff relished every moment spent there with his family.
He especially cherished time with his kids, grandkids and his beloved dog, Millie. He loved traveling to Alaska to visit his son Scott and his family during Scott's time in the military. Jeff often spoke fondly of those trips and the memories they created.
Jeffrey is survived by his children, Todd Healey (Allison), Scott Healey, and Amy Geffers; brothers, David and Paul (Jackie) Healey; grandchildren, Ellissa (Sam) Healey-Wilt, Lila Geffers, and Bryn Geffers; great-grandchildren, Madelynn Healey-Christman, Trenton Healey-Wilt, and Jayden Healey-Wilt; as well as his beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister-in-law, Marge Healey.
The family will host a private celebration of life for Jeffrey at a later date in Michigan.
