Jeffrey Allen Joubert

Jan 31, 1966 — Aug 4, 2026

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jeff Joubert. He passed away on August 4th, 2026, at the age of 60. Jeff was born on January 31,1966 in Oshkosh, the son of Dale and Mildred Joubert. He attended Oshkosh North High School.

On July 3rd, 1997, Jeff married his childhood friend, Katherine "Kathy" Filtz. As children, they were known as the "sandbox twins" and spent much of their time fishing on Lake du Bay near Dancy, Wisconsin. Together, they raised three amazing dogs: Buddy, Shadow, and Bentley. Professionally, Jeff was self-employed in the roofing and siding business. He was known for his willingness to help others and his ability to repair anything that was broken. Jeff loved to travel to Mercer to spend weekends four-wheeling with his wife, Kathy. Always was helping his wife and niece Alyiah with their side gig.

Jeff was avid walleye fisherman and loved the outdoors.

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day: Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. Jeff made sure that his nieces and nephews knew how-to-fish.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Kathy; sisters, Annette (Steve) McHugh, Carol Joubert, Rachel Ludtke, Becky (Simon) Cadena, Jennifer Tomaszewski; mother-in-law, Shirley Filtz; sisters-in-law, Patsy (Brian) Morey and Betty Buhrow-Leman; brother-in-law Melvin Lehman; Bentley Joubert is his best friend and fur puppy; as well as lots of Nieces and Nephews.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Mildred (Zastrow) Joubert; brother, Ronald James Joubert; grandparents, Louis and Luella Joubert who raised him after his parents passed; two nieces, Alexis Beauchamp & Moriah Munsch; one nephew, Ryne Cadena; father-in-law, Barney Filtz; Buddy and Shadow Joubert fur babies.
