Jerome "Jerry" W. Maurer

Jerome “Jerry” W. Maurer, age 81 of Oshkosh, passed away at his Chicago residence on Friday, July 16, 2021. He was born May 2, 1940 to the late Henry and Marguerite (Uttech) Maurer in Wausau, WI.

Jerry attended Columbus High School, and later earned his master’s degree at St. Mary’s College of Winona, MN. He taught high school biology and peer counseling at Loyola Academy for over 50 years.

He loved his family, was an avid reader, always looked forward to traveling, and had an incredible collection of all things ducks!
Jerry is survived by his sister, Judy (David) Hasenohrl, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A private service will be held.
