John I. Rasmussen, 80, of Oshkosh, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2007 at Northpoint Medical and Rehabilitation Center in Oshkosh. John was born on June 15, 1927 in Neenah the son of Hans and Irene Rasmussen. John was married to Lois who preceded him in death in 2004.John had been a police officer in Neenah and San Diego, CA, had served his country in the United States Navy and had enjoyed golf.Survivors include his son, Joel Rasmussen of Oshkosh; his daughter, Janet Lawson of Oshkosh, his twin sisters, Mary (Matt) Otte of Stevens Point, Marian Guidotti of St. John, IN; three grandchildren, Nicholas, Christian and Ryan and one great grandson.A memorial service for John will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home ? Eastside. Inurnment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Neenah.
