Joseph “Joe” C. Roloff, age 78, of Oshkosh, WI, was called home to be with the Lord on June 2, 2026, at Ascension Mercy Hospital with his wife by his side.

Joe was born on April 6, 1948, son of the late John and Jean Roloff, in Shawano, WI. After graduating from Bonduel High School, he joined the United States Army and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. He was deployed from 1968 to 1970. For his bravery and dedicated service, he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and Army Commendation Medal.

After returning home, Joe took some college courses at UW Oshkosh, utilized his outgoing personality and people skills in various sales positions before founding and operating Skil-Tech, Inc.

On January 2, 1982, Joe married the love of his life, Jane, with whom he shared 44 years of marriage. He was the loving father to three daughters, Jessica (Joshua) Glass, Jennifer (Nicholas) Hanford and Jacquelyn (Benjamin) Sincoular. “Papa Joe” was blessed with 11 grandchildren; Colton, Eva, Gavin and Owen Glass, Nevaeh, Maxwell and Maverick Hanford, Sawyer, Grant, Clark and Isla Sincoular.

Joe will be remembered for his sense of humor and his ability to strike up a conversation with everyone. He was a great storyteller and could tell story after story with no end. He was a real-life thesaurus, and fondly held the nickname, Jeopardy Joe. He was a selfless provider for his family, and the futures of his daughters and grandchildren were always his priority.

His cabin in Laona was his favorite retreat, and he would visit there as often as he could. He enjoyed his solitude time watching the birds and deer, but also enjoyed his cabin packed with family for the traditional Memorial and Labor Day weekends.

In addition to his wife, daughters and grandchildren, Joe is survived by his brother John (Vicki) Roloff Jr; sister Jerilyn (Randy) Vande Corput; sister in-law Susan (Robert) Komarinetz; nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John Fredrick Roloff Sr. and Jean Jeanette (Tinsman) Roloff and his sister, Judith Eileen Allen.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be Friday, June 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Martin Luther Church (1526 Algoma Blvd, Oshkosh) followed by a funeral service with military honors at 11:00 a.m.

In honor of Joe, his family will be making a donation to support local Veterans which was near and dear to Joe’s heart.
