Judith A. Boedicker

Judith (Judy) Anne Boedicker (Hoppa; Schmitz), 57, of Oshkosh, WI left us suddenly on January 27, 2026.

Judy was born on October 11, 1968, to her adoptive parents, Jerome and Joan Schmitz. She lived in Wilmette, IL and Highland Park, IL for most of her life, graduating from New Trier High School and attending Kendall College of Culinary Arts later in life.

Judy was a loving mother of four children (Brittney Cloudman (Courtney), Rebecca (Becca) Haywood, Jenna Bloom (Ryan) and Jake Boedicker), a grandmother to four grandchildren (Nicole, Aubriee, Dylan and Jake), and a friend to anyone who wanted one. Her love language and passion in life was making others happy with food, especially with her desserts. Unfortunately, her carrot cake and German potato salad recipes left with her. Those were always family favorites.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Jerome and Joan Schmitz, and her son, Jake Boedicker.

At this time, there is no public visitation or funeral. The family is planning a future celebration of life in IL.
