Judith Ann Jorgensen, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and devoted friend, passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on April 16, 1944, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Judith was a vibrant soul whose laughter and love filled every room she entered. She called Oshkosh home for most of her life, where she dedicated herself to her family and cherished every moment with them.
Judy was known for her joyful spirit and her love of life. She adored dancing with her husband, Ken, especially to the lively tunes of the '50s, creating memories that will last forever. Her favorite pastime was playing Yahtzee, where her competitive side truly came alive. As a grandmother, her pride and joy were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her favorite title was simply "Grandma." She delighted in watching musicals and finding any chance to be with her loved ones, laughing and making memories together.
Judy is survived by her son Kevin (Tricia) Jorgensen; daughter, Rhonda (Darrin) Krueger; grandchildren, Tabatha(Shane), Ryan (Katelund), Tyler, Tanner; great-grandchildren, Camden, John, Liam, Theo, Charlie, Gunner, Lilly; sisters, Mary Hager, Cheryl Johnston; brothers, Mike (Gloria), Paul (Julie), John, Gene (Sandy), and Daryl (Paula) Tavernie. She is further survived by many nieces', nephews, cousins, and friends.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Carlton and Emma Jean Tavernie; husband Kenneth; sister, Sally Wheaton; brothers, Dale and Richard Tavernie.
Judith's family and friends will gather to celebrate her life and the joy she brought to so many. A visitation will be held at Lake View Memorial Park on October 10, 2025, at 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM. We invite those who knew and loved Judith to join us in honoring her spirit, sharing stories, and finding comfort in one another's company.
Though Judith has left this world, her warmth and laughter will resonate in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know her. She may be gone, but her legacy of love and joy will forever shine brightly in our lives.
