June A. Nelson, age 83 of Oshkosh, died at park View Health Center on Sunday, November 8, 2009. June was born in Oshkosh on March 6, 1926, a daughter of the late Edwin J and Mary Samer Siewert. She married Wayne F. Nelson in Oshkosh on July 29, 1944. Wayne preceded her in death on November 7, 1972.June was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and had been employed By Lemberger Wildlife Nurseries. She enjoyed crocheting.Survivors include three children, son, James (Laura) Siewert of Hartford, WI; daughters, Gloria Schettle of Oshkosh; and Leah (Glen) Hepfner of North Lake, WI; one brother, Jack (Dorothy) Siewert of Oshkosh; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.A committal service will held graveside at Lake View Memorial Park on Friday, November 13, 2009 at 1:00 pm.
