Kathleen M. Wolf

February 18, 1954 — November 19, 2023

Kathleen Marie Wolf (nee. Moser), age 69 died on November 19th, 2023 at Bethel Home in Oshkosh, WI surrounded by her immediate family. Kathy was born February 18, 1954 to Don and Dolores Moser in Milwaukee, WI.

Kathy grew up in Milwaukee, graduating from Bayview High School in 1971. She then graduated from Alverno College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in 1975 and obtained a Master’s Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1980.


She worked as a nurse at the Dunn County Health Care Center in Menomonie, WI and at North Central Health Care in Antigo, WI. She also worked as a vocational counselor and case manager at the Portal Industries in Grafton, WI and as a vocational floor supervisor at North Central Health Care in Antigo.


In 1983, Kathy married Keith Wolf in Milwaukee. The couple lived in Germantown, WI and then moved to Port Washington, WI where they lived and worked as group home parents for adults with developmental disabilities. In 1985 they moved to Antigo, WI where they resided until moving to Oshkosh in 2020 to be closer to their daughters. The couple have three children, Amanda Olsen, Alexander Wolf, and Rebekah Perry (Nicholas) who were all raised in Antigo.


Kathy always wanted to be a mom and will be remembered as a wonderful mother by her children, her husband and all who know the family. Kathy loved quilting, counted cross-stitch, and making elaborate felt Christmas stockings. She also loved to cook and bake and will be remembered for her famous fudge, toffee, caramel corn, chocolate chip cheesecake, and key lime pie.


She was an avid reader and member of several book clubs. She was also active behind the scenes making costumes and meals for high school musicals.


She was a member of the Antigo United Methodist Church volunteering as a Sunday School Teacher and active in the United Methodist Women of Faith and Sisters in Faith.


In addition to her husband and daughters, she is also survived by two grandchildren, Eleanor Olsen and Theodore Perry, her one brother Chuck Moser (Annie), her life-long friend Susan Olver and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.


Kathy was preceded in death by her son Alex, her parents, her husband’s parents, her nephew Donnie, grandparents, aunts and uncles and her friend Amy Lynch.


A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 26th at 3:00 PM at the Algoma Boulevard United Methodist Church, 1174 Algoma Blvd, Oshkosh, WI. Reverend Barry Yarbro will officiate with Gerard Wolf delivering the message. Visitation will be on Sunday at the church from 1:00 PM until the service. A private burial service will be held at a later date.
