Kathy L. Ritzert, (Kleckner), passed away peacefully on August 10, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born on August 17, 1961, in Harvard, Illinois, to Wayne and Sharon. Kathy graduated from Harvard High School in 1979. In 1986 Kathy was united in marriage to Leonard Ritzert, they were married for 33 years before his passing in 2019. Together, they had one daughter, Jennifer.

She was a hard worker, and it showed through her occupations throughout life. She grew up on the family farm (Harvard, IL). Kathy worked in administration at Lynn Dairy (Granton, WI) and the manufacturing department at Cummins Filtration (Neillsville, WI). She was also employed at Piggly Wiggly (Omro, WI). Her most prized job of all was taking care of her two granddaughters who lit up her world.

Kathy took great pride in her Christmas cookies and often challenged herself to bake as many varieties as possible. Kathy was a talented musician and enjoyed playing the organ. She also enjoyed crocheting and was known for making and giving crocheted items to those in need. Kathy took great pride in her family, especially her grandchildren, Harper and Paisley.

Kathy is survived by her father, Wayne (Annette) Kleckner; daughter, Jennifer (Alex) Dworak; grandchildren, Harper and Paisley Dworak; siblings, Kevin (Cathi) Kleckner, Julie (Jeff) Luetschwager, Paul (Tracey) Schnulle; sister-in-law, Charlene Schnulle; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon (Larry) Schnulle; her loving husband Leonard; brother, Phillip Schnulle.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until noon. on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Konrad-Behlman Funeral-Westside Home, 100 Lake Pointe Drive, Oshkosh, WI. A Funeral Service will begin at noon officiated by Pastor Bob Bartelme. A private inurnment will take place at a later date at Lake View Memorial Park.

Family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Compassus Hospice, especially her nurse, Montana. As well as the staff at Eden Vista, especially Eli, Cali, and Shawna.

Kathy requested that everyone lights up her service by not wearing black.
