It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kenneth K. Ruedinger, a beloved husband, father, and friend, who left us on May 25, 2025, at the age of 94. He was born to the late Oscar and Caroline (Binder) Ruedinger on August 30, 1930, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Ken spent his entire life in this community, where he made lasting memories and meaningful contributions.
Ken was a proud member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and dedicated 37 years to working at Kimberly Clark; while he was simultaneously the owner and operator of Master TV, where his hard work and innovative spirit shone through.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, Ken was drafted during the Korean Conflict. Outside of work and service, Ken was passionate about physical fitness, an integral part of his life that reflected his strong work ethic and dedication. He was not just a gym enthusiast; starting early in high school sports such as baseball, football, boxing, and swimming, he was a true believer in the importance of health and wellness
Ken explored the world with his beloved wife, Audrey. He also cared about his friends and especially the beloved Poker Night. His love for Audrey and her passion for nature led them to own and develop property into beautiful native Wisconsin woodlands and wetland, affectionally called Prairie Meadows, a testament to his commitment to preserving the beauty of this world.
Ken is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Audrey Hildebrand; children, Kay (Dennis) Malchow; Amy Ruedinger, and Moss Ruedinger; grandchildren, Porter and Zayne Ruedinger; sister, Lorraine "Poppy" Hertzberg; Irene (George) Wood; sister-in-law, Barbara Ruedinger. He is further survived by his brother-in-law, Donald (Rosemary) Hildebrand as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by brother, Jerome Ruedinger; brother-in-law, Richard Hertzberg.
A service for Ken will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes- West (100 Lake Pointe Dr) on Thursday, June 5, 2025. A time of visitation will be held from 12PM until the time of service at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers the family requests you plant your favorite tree in Ken's honor.
