Kenneth W Ludwig

Kenneth W. Ludwig, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at Park View Health Center. He was born to the late Harry and Marie Ludwig on January 31, 1938, in Oshkosh. Ken was a graduate form Oshkosh High School. After graduating from high school, Ken enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed at Ft Lewis. While in the Army he made many lifelong friends that he stayed in touch with throughout the years. Ken married Shirley Zeller on September 19, 1959, in Oshkosh, together they had one daughter.  He spent his career at Rockwell International for over 30 years as a machinist. Ken was a Wisconsin Sports fanatic, holding season tickets to see the Green Bay Packers at both the City Stadium as well as Lambeau Field; he also had the opportunity to cheer (and freeze) for them at the Ice Bowl. He was also a Badger Basketball fan. Ken enjoyed visiting with his Hardee’s group several mornings a week. Ken also enjoyed his grand dogs and spending time with them.
Ken is survived by his daughter, Eileen (Chad) Ludwig-Schaefer; brother Roger Ludwig; sister-in-law, Mary Ludwig; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley; and brothers, Eugene, Richard, and Donald (Joyce) Ludwig.
An inurnment will take place at Lake View Memorial Park on July 2, 2022 at 11:00 to 12:30.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oshkosh Area Humane Society.
