Our sweet Kris left this world on July 24th, 2026. Kristopher Ray Eckert was born on a hot august morning, August 24th, 1984 at St. Francis Hospital in Milwaukee. A happy, funny baby who grew into a wonderful kindhearted man.
Raised in Oshkosh, Kris was a graduate of Oshkosh North High School. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his brothers and grandpa Ray. He was a hard worker throughout his life, with a passion for welding and concrete. He will be lovingly remembered for his strength, compassion, sense of humor and especially his love for animals, especially his dogs, SheBa and Ruby Rose. Kris even rescued a baby squirrel that had fallen from a tree!
He leaves behind precious memories that will forever be cherished and shared by his family. While our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing that love never dies. Kristopher’s spirit will forever remain with those that love him.
Kris is survived by his mother, Karla (Scott) Brown, his big brother, Kiel R. Eckert, his little brother, Nicolas Williams, father, Kurt Eckert, and many other relatives and friends.
A funeral service for Kris will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Eastside, 402 Waugoo Ave. on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. with Fr. Ryan Starks officiating. Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will take place at Lake View Memorial Park.
Your pain and burdens are gone, peace and love my beautiful boy. God has you in His arms forever. -Mom
