Larry Lee Hyde

Larry Hyde, 72, was born 9-21-1953, passed away 5-13-26 in hospice care at Alten Haus in Neenah where he resided for the past five years.

He graduated from Ripon High School in 1971. He had a lifelong dream of living in California. He was able to reside there for a period after graduation then he spent most of his life living in Oshkosh where he especially enjoyed Menominee park.

Larry was a kind and caring soul and would help others if he could.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Beatrice (Hunter) Hyde and Leland Hyde; also by his brother, Gregory Hyde and sister Jacqueline Medvecz. He is survived two sisters, Susan (Roy) Duxstad and Julie (Mike)Basel , niece Lexi Basel and nephew Alex Basel. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Robert Medvecz and sister-in-law Debra Hyde and leaves behind a large loving extended family of aunts and cousins.

Larry was diagnosed with schizophrenia in his late teens and lived with the challenges that disease presented throughout his life. The family thanks the staff at Alten Haus for their kind and loving care.

Larry will be interred at Liberty Prairie Cemetery in Pickett with a private family gathering.
