Laurita D. Daugherty

Laurita D. Daugherty, age 86 of Oshkosh, passed away at Evergreen Retirement Community on Saturday, March 2, 2024. She was born on May 9, 1937 to the late Herbert and Elda (Brendemuehl) Thurow in Oconomowoc. Laurita was united in marriage on September 9, 1959 to James Daugherty at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Oconomowoc.

Laurita is survived by her sister, Yvonne Voigt, as well as nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Laurita was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. James Daugherty.

A funeral service will take place at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2450 W. 9^th Ave. on Friday, March 8, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Greg Koepsell officiating. There will be no formal visitation prior to the funeral. Burial will be held at Ellenwood Cemetery.
