Leon Hazen

Leon G. Hazen, age 84, of Oshkosh, WI, passed away on May, 14, 2025, at Parkview Health Center.

Leon was born on May 2, 1941, in Oshkosh, WI, son of Floyd and Ella Hazen. He graduated from Oshkosh High School and went on to work in various manufacturing jobs.

Leon married Dorothy Eschenbauch on June 4, 1988, in Oshkosh, WI at the Paine Art Center in the gardens.

He loved being outdoors, whether it was golfing, throwing a line in the water with his great-grandson, or spending time with his family. Leon was a dedicated Packers fan and enjoyed going to Brewer games. Family and friends were his greatest joy in life, spending time with them and creating lasting memories.

Leon is survived by his daughters, Patricia (Brian) Novotny, Lianne (Lance) Rabehl of Beloit, WI, Helene (John) Burke of Rayville, LA; son, Eric Hazen of Oshkosh, WI; stepsons, Donald (Lora) Eschenbauch and Darin (Jill) Eschenbauch; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; his special Packer buddies, Ryan, Connor, and Reed; his good friend Pearl "Dumpling Girl"; as well as many cherished family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dorothy "Dot"; his son, Keith Hazen; and his sister, Patsy Hazen.

Visitation will begin at 5:00pm on Thursday, May 29, 2025 until the time of the funeral service at 7:00pm, taking place at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home, located at 100 Lake Point Drive, Oshkosh, WI.

Interment will be held at Lake View Memorial Park on Friday, May 30, 2025 at 10:00am.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Parkview Health Center for the compassionate care they provided Leon during his stay.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
