LeRoy C. Dahms

LeRoy C. Dahms, age 96 of Oshkosh, was called home to the Lord on Monday, December 22, 2025. He was born in Oshkosh on February 26, 1929 to the late Arthur and Selma (Krenke) Dahms.

LeRoy was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and later became the owner of his own business, the LeRoy C. Dahms Insurance Agency. He was also a dedicated member of Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church, where he kept his faith close to his heart throughout his life. He married the love of his life, Marjorie, in 1970, and although she passed away in 2012, her memory stayed alive in LeRoy's heart.

LeRoy is survived by his step-grandsons, Tyler and Ryan, as well as many “favorite” nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, LeRoy was preceded in death by his son, Terry Dahms as well as seven siblings.

A funeral service for LeRoy will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, December 29, 2025 at Martin Luther Ev. Lutheran Church,1526 Algoma Blvd Oshkosh, WI 54901 with Rev. John Steinbrenner officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial with Military Honors will take place at Lake View Memorial Park.

The family appreciates any memorial contributions made in LeRoy’s name to Martin Luther Ev. Lutheran Church, reflecting his commitment to faith and community. They express their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff of Bethel Home and Compassus Hospice for the exceptional care they provided.

As we gather to celebrate LeRoy’s life, we will reflect on the joy he brought into our lives and the faith that guided him home to celebrate Christmas in heaven this year. Amen, Amen, Amen.
