Lorraine Mae Rosenthal

Lorraine M. Rosenthal, 92, died Thursday January 28, 2016, at Park View Health Center.She was born July 15, 1923, in Oshkosh a daughter of the late Milton and Irma (Schumann) Kirchoff. She married Wilmer Rosenthal on October 13, 1945 in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on Nov. 9, 2009.Lorraine helped on the family dairy farm in the Town of Vinland for many years and was the Town Clerk for 20 years retiring in 1999. She was a member of the Vinland Center Homemakers Club for 50 years and enjoyed playing piano, knitting, gardening, and fishing.Lorraine is survived by a son, Tom (Cheryl) Rosenthal; a daughter-in-law, Chris Rosenthal; three grandchildren, Steven (Donna) Rosenthal, Shannon Rosenthal, and Shane (Lisa) Rosenthal; and five great-grandchildren, Brittany Bishop, Nicholas Rosenthal, Jordan Rosenthal, Erin Rosenthal, and Grant Rosenthal. She was preceded in death by a son, Stanley Rosenthal and a brother, Robert Kirchoff.Private graveside services will be held at Brooks Cemetery. Lorraines family will receive family, friends, and neighbors at the Town of Vinland-Town Hall (6085 County Road T, Oshkosh) on Monday February 1, 2016, from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
