Louis Shawn Campbell, lovingly known as Shawn, passed away on August 16, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on May 18, 1955, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, he was the beloved son of Normond and Mary Helen (Friedel) Campbell.
Shawn spent 30 years working as a skilled fabricator at United Plastic Fabricating, where his steady hands and strong work ethic left a lasting mark. He had a natural talent for fixing things and could often be found tinkering with projects, using his skill and patience to bring broken items back to life. Beyond his work, he found joy in the outdoors - tending gardens, caring for plants, and remaining ever curious about the world around him.
Though quiet by nature, Shawn had an inquisitive mind, a playful sense of humor, and a gentle spirit that shone brightly. Shawn's children looked up to him with deep respect, admiring his humility, steady strength, and the quiet wisdom he carried through life - even throughout his battle with dementia, where he held on tightly to his humor and memory of his loved ones.
Shawn is survived by his wife, Rose Ragenoski-Campbell; his children, Brent Campbell, Brian (Melody) Ragenoski, and Tianni Campbell; his beloved grandchildren, Declan, Elijah & Rozlynn Campbell and Mila & Brody Ragenoski; and his siblings, Stephen (Juniette) Campbell, Edward (Jennifer) Campbell, Mary Jo (Jeffrey) Chriske, Carole (Joseph) Dorsch, and Margaret Campbell. He is preceded in death by his parents; Mary Helen (2019) & Normond (2007) Campbell, as well as his brothers, Greyling (1956), Paul (2009), and David (2019).
The family wishes to express heartfelt gratitude to all who cared for Shawn in his final years, offering kindness, compassion, and dignity along the way. Shawn will be remembered with love, laughter, and gratitude for the time we were blessed to share with him.
