Lynn Erwin "Morgy" Morgan age 84 of Pickett, WI passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 29th, 2025, at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh, WI. Lynn was born on May 14th, 1941, at Ripon Hospital in Ripon, WI, to Nora Davies Morgan and Lee E. Morgan of Pickett, WI.
He graduated from Ripon High School in 1959. He got his first job driving truck for George Potratz and he also helped his dad on the farm. He eventually took over the farm, being the fourth generation on the same farm on County Road FF. The farm was a Sesquicentennial Farm honored at the state fair in 1998 for 150 years of continuous family ownership. He also drove truck for Dave Hielke for the canning season and later drove a dump truck for Hielke, then Dave Rake Trucking.
Lynn was a former member of Ducks Unlimited, the National Rifle Association and was a former Charter member of the Pickett Lions Club for several years as a tail twister. He shot pool in the old Omro Men's Pool League and also at Packers Pub where he scored several trophies.
Lynn was the longest living resident on County Road FF, south of Street Road 91 to Street Highway 26. He briefly resided at Eden Meadows in Oshkosh.
He is survived by his wife, Jo, whom he finally married on April 28, 2024, after 43 years of being engaged. Several stepchildren; Carole Strook of Appleton, WI, Timothy Strook of Fisk, WI, Tamara (Curt) Mortensen of Red Granite, WI, Sherryl of Waupun, WI, James Strook of Oshkosh, WI, Julie (Phil) Smith of Oshkosh, WI and Jayne (Jim) Kenipfer of Waupaca, WI. Six step grandchildren, four step great-grandchildren. One estranged daughter of Stevens Point, WI. Sister-in-law, Darlene Peterson of Eden, WI. Brothers-in-law, Leo Nally Jr. (Dianne) of northern Wisconsin and Steve McAuly of Oshkosh, WI. Along with several cousins.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Lee and Nora Morgan of Pickett, WI. Brother-in-law, Jim Peterson of Eden, WI. Sister-in-law, Rose Marie McAuly of Oshkosh, WI.
A funeral visitation will be held Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 10:00am until the time of service at 12:00pm. It will take place at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes west side location, located at 100 Lake Point Drive, Oshkosh, WI. A burial will follow at 2:00pm at Zoar Cemetery in Pickett, WI.
