Marjorie Duwe, 97, of Oshkosh died on Friday, December 15, 2006 at Bethel Home. She was born on February 11, 1909 in the Town of Poy Sippi the daughter of William and Augusta Samrow Blair. Marjorie married Herman Duwe Jr. on July 5, 1929 in Oshkosh. Herman preceded her in death on May 13, 1983.Marge worked at Lenox Candles for many years retiring from there in 1974. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church.Survivors include her son, James E. (Sherie) Duwe of Grafton; two grandsons, David (Donna) Duwe of Elkhorn, Christopher (Tara) Duwe of Plymouth; two great grandchildren, Nathan and Kathryn Duwe and many nieces and nephews. She was also survived by special friends and neighbors, Ken Leichtfuss, and Joan Wortman, and caregivers, Ellen Bruce, and Judi Gruszynske.Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Michael Duwe; sister, Edith Reitz and brother, James Blair. She was also preceded in death by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.The funeral service will be on Thursday, December 21, 2006 at 1:00 PM at Peace Lutheran Church, 240 W 9th Ave with Rev. Ralph Hanusa officiating. Family and friends may call at the church on Thursday from 10:00 AM to the time of service. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park.Marges family would like to thank the staff of Bethel Homes first floor east for the loving care given her during her time there.
