Marlene Dega

Marlene Dega passed away peacefully on 12/06/25 at the age of 93. She was born on September 8, 1932 to Rudolph and Sylvia Tester Hoger and grew up in Winneconne, Wisconsin. Marlene moved to Oshkosh after graduation from high school where she met and married Robert Dega. Together they raised three children, Vicki, Laurie, and James.

Marlene and Bob loved spending summers on their houseboat and winters in Fort Myers, FL. Marlene enjoyed golfing, bowling, and spending time with friends. Grandchildren were the joy of Marlene's life. She was so proud of them and their accomplishments. Marlene was also very proud of her career with the US Postal Service, retiring as the Postmaster of Butte des Morts.
