Marlene Kay Teela-Lenz

Marlene Teela-Lenz, beloved mother, Nana, partner, sister, and friend, passed away on August 1, 2025, surrounded by love. Marlene was born on September 17, 1953, and was a lifelong resident of Oshkosh. She was a radiant light in the lives of all who knew her. Someone who brought joy, laughter, and warmth wherever she went.

Marlene was the devoted mother of Jennifer (Keith) Fiebig and Jessica (Michael) Piper, and the proud ‘Nana’ of Austin Verwiel, Leah & Lydia Longworth, and Nathaniel & Tanner Piper. She shared a beautiful life with her significant other, Randy Streblow, and was a cherished sister to Deb ‘Redbird’ Schreiber. She was also deeply loved by her sisters-in-law, Cheryl and Cindy Vienola, as well as many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Professionally, Marlene touched many lives as a talented hair stylist and owner of Shearpower salon, executive director of the Winneconne Community Development Authority, and a dedicated campground ‘director’. No matter the role, she brought creativity, energy, and flair for sparkle - both literal and in spirit. Known as the life of the party, Marlene loved fiercely and lived fully. Her admiration for things bright and beautiful was matched only by her deep devotion to family and friends. She had an unforgettable laugh and a vibrant soul.

Marlene is preceded in death by her loving parents, Thomas & DeLaine Vienola, and her dear brothers, Keith & Tommy Vienola. Though her presence will be deeply missed, the joy and love she shared continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who knew her. Her memory will forever be a source of comfort and light.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at the Elks Club, 175 W. Fernau Ave., Oshkosh from 1-5 pm. A short memorial service will begin at 1:30 pm. All who knew and loved Marlene are invited to join in honoring her vibrant spirit, sharing stories and celebrating the SPARKLE she brought to our lives.
