Mary Tollard

Mary J. Tollard, age 82, gained her angel wings on the evening of May 26, 2025 at Aurora Medical Center. She was born at home to the late Anthony and Lenore (Johnson) Switlick on August 27, 1942. She married the love of her life, Claude Tollard on September 9, 1966. They were blessed with two daughters, Traci Lynn and Kimberly Renee.

Mary worked various secretarial positions and in later years did medical transcription.

Mary enjoyed family time, country line dancing, as well as writing poetry.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Tollard; grandchildren, Samuel and Madeline Bickley and Mackenzie(Brandon) Lalk, Carley & Reid Oleson; great-grandson Bennett Lalk; sisters Judith Jorgensen, Nancy Lee, Kate(Elroy) Petermann, Kristine(Michael) Domer, Elizabeth(Edward) Metzler; sisters in law Darlene Curtis, Kathy(Tim) Sebora; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Claude; daughter Traci Oleson; sister Karen(Tommy) Kramer, and brother Thomas Switlick; sisters in law Loraine(Donald) Groff, Elaine (Robert) Hasse, Vivian Miller, and Fran Demski; and brothers in law Chester, Delbert, Harold, Richard, and Calvin Tollard.

A service for Mary will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes West (100 Lake Pointe Dr) on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 5:00PM. A time of visitation will be held from 4:00PM until the time of service.

Mary's family would like to thank the Aurora ER, hospital, and ICU staff for their excellent care of Mary, as well as Evergreen Manor for their care of Mary in the last month of her life. Mary was, also, a resident at Arborview Manor the last year of her life.

In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
