Matthew T Freiberg

Matthew T. Freiberg, age 25, died unexpectedly November 11, 2008.Matt was born July 18, 1983 in Oshkosh to Thomas and Cheryl Freiberg. He was baptized and confirmed at FirstEnglish Lutheran Church. Some of his greatest memories were helping those in need during the mission trips he took with the church youth group. He was a sports enthusiast.He loved playing football and looked forward to the annual Packer Game he would attend with his mom.Matts love for the outdoors drew him to Door County where he worked at Gordon Lodge. Throughout his life heenjoyed nature with his family and friends. Together they would go hiking, biking, camping, fishing, and paddling theBoundary Waters.Matt will be eternally loved and missed by his parents, Thomas and Cheryl Freiberg of Oshkosh; sister and brother-in-law, Justin and Angela (Freiberg) Abbott;grandparents, Robert and Nancy Koss and Ronald (Bev) Freiberg; numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kent Freiberg,and his grandmother Rhea (Miller) Freiberg.A memorial service for Matt will be held Friday, November 14, 2008 at 7:00 pm at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home – Westside with the Rev. Tim Greenwald officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 3:00 pm until the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established in Matts name.
