Merrell Clarence Christianson

Merrell C. Christianson, 95, of Oshkosh died Thursday October 4, 2007 at Bethel Home. He was born July 1, 1912 in Tioga, ND a son of Karlot and Mary Olson Christianson. Merrell married Margaret Faust on August 9, 1938 in Oshkosh. She preceded him in death on January 24, 2005. Merrell owned Christianson Cycle Shop for many years. He is survived by five sons Robert (Diane) Christianson of Prescott, AZ, William (Dorothy) Christianson of Menasha, James (Debbie) Christianson, Carl Christianson, and Gerald Christianson all of Oshkosh; a daughter Mary Ann (Kenneth) Thone of New Holstein; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; nieces and nephews. Graveside services and inurnment will be held at a later date at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.Merrells family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Bethel Home.
