Michael E. Iriarte

Michael E. Iriarte, of Omro, was found deceased on Monday, February 12, 2024 after going missing on November 26, 2023 while fishing in lake Butte Des Morts. He was born in Lakeland, Florida on December 17, 1981 to Erin (Runyon) Abercrombie and Eduardo Iriarte.

A true lover of the outdoors, he found solace and happiness in the water, whether it be casting a line into the ocean or serenely fishing in a nearby lake. He possessed a natural talent for sports, excelling in his favorite hobbies of golf, tennis, and even completing several marathons. He also enjoyed playing the guitar and had a passion for cooking.

Michael is lovingly survived by his daughter, Natalia Iriarte; parents, Erin (Greg Noffke) Abercrombie and Eduardo (Tacyana) Iriarte; grandmothers, Dorice Oynes and Martha Wood; siblings, Brandi (Manuel Alvarado) Carter, Bruno and Lucas Iriarte. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandfathers, Bobby Runyon and Lars Oynes, paternal grandmother Carmen  Sanzetenea and Vito Iriarte.

A memorial service for Michael will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Dr. on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will take place from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
