Michele Andrade

Michele A. Andrade, age 71, passed away unexpectedly at Aurora Medical Center on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. She was born to the late George and Frances (Gallio) Andrade on February 5, 1953, in Santa Monica, CA and was a beloved sister to David, Mary, Francine, Gino, and Patricia Lyne.

Michele's life was one dedicated to the field of psychiatry, having earned a doctorate in the subject from the prestigious University of Wisconsin-Madison. Over 27 years, she brought comfort and healing to countless individuals as she served in various capacities in the state of Wisconsin, including at the Winnebago Mental Health Institute. Her dedication and empathy were felt by all those she touched.

Apart from her professional achievements, Michele found joy and fulfilment in the world of animal shows. Her passion for displaying the grace and beauty of horses and cats led her to many victories and accolades, a testament to her skill and love for these majestic creatures.

As we reflect on Michele's life, we remember her kindness, her unwavering compassion, and her ability to connect with others on a deep level. Her laughter and wisdom will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Michele is survived by her brother, David Andrade and his wife, Liz, sisters, Mary Bierce and her husband, Don and Francine Andrade. She is further survived by her sister-in-law, Debbie Andrade as well as her nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Michele was preceded in death by her brother, Gino Andrade, and sister, Patricia Lyne Erickson

A memorial service for Michele will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Westside (100 Lake Pointe Dr) on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 6PM. A time of visitation will be held from 5PM until the time of service.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Christine Ann Center or to the Oshkosh Area Humane Society
