Mildred "Millie" Faye Kent

Mildred "Millie" Faye (Coffman) Kent, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026. Millie was born on December 6, 1934, to Minerva (Missey) and Elby Coffman in Granite City, IL.

Millie married Eugene "Gene" Kent on June 30,1956 at Trinity Baptist Church in Lawton, OK. They celebrated 70 years together.

Millie loved her family with all her heart. She was a Cub Scout Den Mother for six years. She also loved music and was a big Green Bay Packers fan.

She retired from the Lake Delton Elementary School after 19 years as the secretary. She was blessed to work with the BEST teachers and support staff and loved the elementary kids. She was a member of the PTA where she served as Treasurer for two years, and President of the Support Staff Union, AFSCME.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Charles; sister, Patricia Monzka.

She is survived by her husband, Gene Kent; sons, Eugene Lynn, Keith David (Debra), and Kelly Alan (Christine) Kent; grandchildren, Amanda (Libby) Luciani, Ashleigh Kent, Adam Neider, and Erick and Ava Kent.

A celebration of life for Millie will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Dr. on Monday, August 24th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a time of sharing to take place at 2 p.m.
