Millicent "Milly" Paske, age 96, beloved wife, mother and grandmother died peacefully surrounded by family on September 22, 2025.
Milly was born on February 23, 1929, in Ohio, daughter of Robert and Mabel (Tappan) McFarland. She grew up in Goshen, IN. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry at Indiana University. She worked as a chemist for Eli Lilly Pharmaceutical Company.
She married the love of her life, Donald H. Paske, in 1955 and together they had two sons. Milly is survived by her sons, Craig (Jackie Sandene) and Kurt (Anne Boyer): five grandchildren; Karl, Jimmy, Catherine, Jaana and Mac. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother (Richard) and husband (Don).
Milly was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She helped her husband establish Klein-Dickert, Oshkosh, Inc. (later renamed Omni Glass & Paint, Inc.). Milly and Don enjoyed entertaining friends & business associates at their home. Milly loved to cook. She loved creating gourmet meals and decorating for holiday parties, sometimes spending weeks preparing.
Milly held many volunteer positions throughout her life; including teaching Sunday school, volunteering with & sometimes presiding over chapters of; Church Women United, AAUW, VNA & The United Way. Milly was also a Campfire Girl and member of PEO & Tri-Delta Sorority. Milly served on the boards of the YMCA and Evergreen Manor. Milly enjoyed sailing, fishing, downhill skiing, camping, hunting, tennis and hosting bridge parties.
She will be remembered by all for her generous nature, community involvement and her love for her family and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by family and friends, and her spirit will live on through those who loved her.
A funeral service for Milly will be held Friday, October 10, 2025, at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside,100 Lake Pointe Dr, Oshkosh. Visitation 10:00 am, funeral 11:00 am with burial to follow the service. Memorials are preferred to The Alzheimer's Foundation.
