Misembo Ibrahimu

Misembo Ibrahimu, 68 of Oshkosh, passed away at his residence on Saturday, March 2, 2024. He was born in the Democratic Republic of The Congo on January 1, 1956 to Ibrahimu Lolema and Apendeki Mkobelwa. 

Misembo and Asia Rashindi  got married and they had a total of six children, which is Mbokani, Imani, Sahidi, Ibrahimu and Maria. Within those six children, Misembo lost one child. Misembo was married to his second wife, Generosa Wapole and they had a total of eight children, which is Marcelina, Jeanne, Sakina, Byaombe, Apendeki, Magdelena and Wapole. Within those eight children, Misembo had also lost one child.

Misembo worked at Neenah Foundry. He enjoyed construction and carpentry. He loved going for boat rides and spending time with his family.

Misembo is survived by his wife, Generosa; children, Mbokani, Imani, Sahidi, Ibrahimu, Maria, Marceline, Jeanne, Sakina, Byaombe, Apendeki, Magdeline and Wapole Misembo; grandchildren, Mmbomba Mfariji, Pili-marcelina, Mtanya, Hasha, Julien, Stephen, Salva, Christopher, Wilondja, Misembo and Sahidi.

A funeral service for Misembo will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, 400 N. Sawyer, on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery.
