Mitch Lloyd

Mitch A. Lloyd, age 39, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born to Mark and Judy (Reichenberger) Lloyd on October 20, 1984 in Oshkosh. He married David (Collins) Lloyd on March 2nd, 2024

Mitch loved supporting and caring for others. He found his true calling as a nurse and enjoyed working at Evergreen Retirement Community before moving on to Ascension Hospital where he was given a Daisy Award for his compassion and leadership.

Outside of his career he shared his heart and soul with his devoted husband, David, and his family who adored him so much. He enjoyed movies, traveling and a quiet night on the couch with David and their sweet pets. Mitch always brought lightness and grace to all who had the opportunity to meet him. He gave tirelessly to others and was quick to offer encouragement and a warm smile.

Mitch is survived by his loving husband, David Lloyd; parents, Mark and Judy Lloyd; sister, Mindy (Jason) Wilson; brother, Jason Lloyd (fiancé, Heather Blohm); nephews, Milo and Emmett Wilson, Talon Lloyd and niece, Elara Lloyd.

Mitch was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gilbert and Leona Reichenberger and sister-in-law, Tracy Lloyd

A memorial service for Mitch will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Westside (100 Lake Pointe Dr) on Wednesday, 21 August 2024, at 6PM. A visitation will be held from 4PM until the time of service.

While those who care for Mitch would give anything to have him here today, we're thankful he has the peace he deserves. He truly was the best of us.
