Nancy L. Wright

Nancy L. Wright, age 78, of Oshkosh, WI, went home to her Heavenly Father and now rests in the arms of the Lord on July 11, 2025, at her home surrounded by family and friends.

Nancy was born on September 17, 1946, in Oshkosh, WI, daughter of Allen and Marion (Judkins) McCray. She graduated high school in Oshkosh and went on to receive an Associate's Degree before starting a career at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, where she worked for over 40 years.

She was known for her beautiful knitted blankets and strong spirit. Nancy was a very talented musician especially on the piano and organ. She played the organ at Grace Bible Church and Wesley United Methodist, in addition to playing for weddings and funerals.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Wakeley (Marcus); son, Todd Wright (Carol); special grandson, Drake Merten; sister Pam Abbott (Seth).

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry Wright; brother Michael McCray.

The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to her hospice provider, Compassus Hospice and specifically, Marissa, who went above and beyond caring for her. Marissa's compassion and willingness to help in any way will never be forgotten.

A memorial service for Nancy will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at 5:00 pm, at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Drive, Oshkosh. A time of visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until the beginning of the service
