Orley O. Nelson, age 83, passed away at Aurora Medical Center on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. He was born to the late Herbert and Adella (Klemp) Nelson on June 25, 1942, in Black Creek, WI.
Orley attended Center Valley Grade school, a one room schoolhouse for the first eight years of school, and he later graduated from Seymour High School. He worked for many years at the Neenah Foundry as well as the twelve corners cheese Factory in Black Creek. He also loved doing flea and farm markets in the area with his wife, Arlene.
Olrey is survived by his brothers, Raymond (Karen) Nelson, and Jim (Nancy) Nelson; children, Terry (Beth) Redmann, Darrell (Tammy) Redmann and Shelly Sedo; grandchildren, Jeremy (Carey) Redmann, Nicholas Redmann Kristen (Bruce) Williams, Heather (Lance) Casper, & Brook Sedo; great-grandchildren, Zachary Redmann, Mason, Sina, Nolan Sina, Kinsley Casper; nieces Leslie (James) Richter, Heather (Ben) Rolfs, Heidi Nelson, Tanya Scheusner, Stacey (Tom) Gregory.
In addition to his parents, Orley was preceded in death by his long-time companion, Arlene Redmann and his brother-in-law, Clyde Maas.
A service for Orley will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes, Westside (100 Lake Pointe Dr) on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 6PM. A time of visitation will be held from 4:30PM until the time of service.
