Paula L. (Koss) Wenhardt

Paula L. (Koss) Wenhardt, age 58, of Oshkosh went to her eternal home to be with the Lord on Saturday April 15, 2023, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.

She was born on June 20, 1964, to the late Robert “Jabber” S. Koss Sr. and Nancy (Kittoe) Koss. On April 8, 1983, she married Peter Wenhardt at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church, Oshkosh, WI.

Paula loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren, taking cruises and traveling somewhere with a beach, collecting seashells. She worked for Mercy Medical Center for 30 years in outpatient testing and met many friends.

Paula will be eternally loved and missed by her husband of 40 years, Peter Wenhardt; children, Brittany (Jason) Wenhardt-Lacey, Emily (Tyler) Kratz, Nicholas Wenhardt; grandchildren, Chloe Jowett, Ava Wenhardt, Oliver, Natalie and Ella Kratz, step grandchildren, Josslyn, and Johanna Lacey. She is further survived by her siblings, Kathleen (Ralph) Gantner, Cheryl (Thomas) Freiberg, Lisa (Michael) Rhyner; sisters-in-law, Ingrid Meilahn, Rosina Wenhardt, Heidi Wenhardt- Cook, Lisa (Pete Maejeck) Wenhardt, Christine Wenhardt; brothers-in-law, Joachin (Joni Chew) Wenhardt, and Martin (Shelley Severance) Wenhardt, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Nancy and Robert “Jabber” Koss Sr., brother, Robert Koss Jr, mother and father-in-law, Lieselotte and Andreas Wenhardt, nephews, Kent and Matthew Freiberg, brother-in-law, Richard Meilahn.

The family wishes to thank ProMedica Hospice for their compassion and care during this difficult time, especially Amanda, Lynn, Jody, Kris and John.

A memorial service for Paula will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday April 23, 2023, at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church, 913 Nebraska St., Oshkosh, with Pastor Chadwick Graham officiating. Visitation will take place from 1:00 pm until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
