Peter Larsen

Peter Larsen age 78, of Redgranite died at Berlin Memorial Hospital on Friday, November 27, 2009. He was born in Oshkosh on January 22, 1931, a son of the late Peter and Louise Kloetzke Larsen. Peter married Joan Reichert in Oshkosh on May 2, 1953.Peter proudly served his country in the U S Army. He retired after 35 years of service with the P.H. Glatfelter Company in Neenah. He enjoyed woodworking and was very involved with racing pigeons, breeding, raising and racing them. He was a member of the Oshkosh Racing Pigeon Club. Peter was also a member of the Neshkoro VFW Post 10892 and the Wild Rose VFW Post 370. Survivors include his wife, Joan Larsen of Redgranite; three daughters, Christine (Gary) Williams of Oshkosh; Diane Lichterman of Oshkosh; and Janice (Donald) Adams of Rockledge, FL; four grandchildren, Philip and Andrew Lichterman, Alex and Melanie Adams. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Carl Larsen; and one sister, Mildred Petri.A time of visitation will be held at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home- Westside on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Interment will be held at Lake View Memorial Park with military honors. A memorial is being established.
