Peter Savolainen

Peter Savolainen Jr., 84, of Oshkosh, formerly of Duluth, MN passed away on Friday August 26, 2005 at Northpoint Medical & Rehabilitation in Oshkosh. He was in World War II and the Korean conflict working in the Army mess halls. Pete also worked at Savolainen Jewelry Store in Duluth. He was active in the food service line of work until his retirement. Pete was preceded in death by his parents Peter Sr. and Tynne Savolainen, and by his wife Arletta. He is survived by his daughter Mary Ann Savolainen of Duluth, MN; his son Mike Lee Savolainen of Davenport, IA; grandchildren Michael John Savolainen of Duluth, Britany Rose Leigh Savolainen & Lesley Elizabeth Savolainen of Ankeny, IA. There will be no services abiding by Petes wishes.
