Phyllis Diane Dutcher, age 68 of Oshkosh, passed away in her home on October 27, 2026. Daughter of Elmer and Janie Savage Dutcher, she is survived by her sisters, Sandra and Deborah and brother, Ronald.
As a student at Wautoma High, she was the first young woman ever to be awarded the title "Most Athletic Student" for her participation in every sport available. Her love of softball continued on teams in Wautoma and Berlin.
Phyllis was married to Bobbie Knaus and helped raise her three children, Amanda, Amber and Joshua. She worked for Kimberly Clark until retiring from there, then earned a degree in accounting from Fox Valley Tech. She started a second career at 4 Imprint, where she worked until retiring.
Phyllis was known for her radiance, her compassion and her love. Even in the last two years, when cancer slowly took away her physical mobility, she remained a constant source of positivity and support to friends around the country. Her light is deeply missed.
A celebration of life is being planned for her friends and family. Details will be announced later.
