Reinhold Paul Schulz

Reinhold P. (R.P.) Schulz, age 96, passed away peacefully at Bella Vista on May 14, 2026. Reinhold was born in Oshkosh on February 22, 1930, to the late Paul and Elsie (nee Machner) Schulz. He was baptized and confirmed at First English Lutheran Church. Reinhold was married to Virginia (nee Hartl) on September 14, 1949. They had two children together, Robert and Christine. Virginia preceded him in death on August 13, 1980. He was later married to Cheryl Bartlett for almost 27 years. She preceded him in death on September 9, 2008.

Reinhold served in the United States Army. Upon returning from service, he worked for Anderson Motor Company. Then he worked for over 30 years at the Foundry doing inspection. After the aluminum and brass plant closed, Reiny went to work for Morgan's Door Company until retirement.

R.P.'s past times were golfing in the men's league at Far Vu, fishing & boating, and league bowling at T.N.O. Reiny was a dedicated member of Oshkosh Elks Lodge #292 for forty-four years, and was very proud to hold the position of Exalted Ruler for the 1994-95 Lodge year.

Reinhold is survived by his daughter, Christine Pascarella, of Oshkosh, WI; Stepson, Thomas (Pam) Elmer, of Oregon, WI; granddaughter, Angela (Ken) Phillips & great-grandson, Vincent Phillips, of Shakopee, MN; step-grandchildren, Samantha Elmer, Jamie Elmer, and Jason Elmer; and step-great-grandchildren, Graysinn and Ella Elmer. Sister, Margaret (Joe) Principalle; and special friend, Pam Schedivy (Tim Gibson), of Oshkosh, WI.

In addition to his parents, Reinhold was preceded in death by his son, Robert Schulz; Stepson, Timothy Elmer; sisters, Helen Rueckert, Dorothy Laraway; brother-in-law Jim Rueckert, Pete Laraway, and Joe Principalle.

A special thank you to all his Elks friends who helped with Reiny when needed. Also, thank you to St. Croix Hospice and the care team of Bella Vista for making Reiny's last days as comfortable as possible.

Funeral services for Reiny will be held at Konrad-Behlman, 100 Lake Point Drive, on Thursday, May 21, 2026, with visitation from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. An Elks Service will begin at 5:30 p.m.
