Richard Yehle

Richard Yehle, age 78, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Aurora Medical Center after a long fight with cancer. He was born to the late Milton and Helen (Tewell) Yehle on December 19, 1946 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Survivors include his wife, Karen (Borowczyk) Yehle of 41 years, his children: Carl (Tina) Vitous of Elcho, WI; Kira Heise of Winneconne, WI; Becky Vitous of Oshkosh, WI; Angela (Kevin) Kramer of Neenah, WI; Eric (Alyssa) Yehle of Appleton, WI; his grandchildren: Dylenn, Cash, Morgan, Nathan, Noah, Jordan, Rhett, Lauren, Charlotte, and Raegan. He was preceded in death by his parents Milton and Helen Yehle, and sisters Nancy (Yehle) Schmitzer and Barbara (Yehle) Wesner.

Rick graduated from Winneconne High School and went to school for computers, as well as took certification courses to become a certified housekeeping supervisor. Rick was employed by Jack's Maintenance in Neenah, WI for many years and went on to be a supervisor of Housekeeping for St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton, WI, after which he was employed by Converters Ink, and retired in 2010 from the same company, now known as Sun Chemical.

Rick loved to fish and spent many hours on the lakes and rivers in Wisconsin including his favorite place, Green Lake, WI. Rick and his wife, Karen enjoyed staying at their permanent campground in Whispering Oaks Campground in Green Lake, WI where they spent most of their summer months with many friends and family since 2008. Rick was involved in sports in high school, playing basketball and baseball. He was active in bowling leagues, and enjoyed golfing, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling. He was involved in coaching youth basketball and baseball. Rick was an avid sports fan loving the Milwaukee Brewers and Bucks, Wisconsin Badgers and Green Bay Packers. He enjoyed his family, especially his children and grandchildren. The family would like to send their appreciation to the caring staff at both ThedaCare and Aurora Medical Center.

A service for Rick will be held at St Raphaels Catholic Church (830 Westhaven Drive) Oshkosh on October 16, 2025 at 11:30AM. A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 from 5PM until 8PM at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes West (100 Lake Pointe Dr) Oshkosh and again the following day from 10:30AM until the time of service at the Church. A burial will be held at Winneconne Cemetery.
