Rita Evelyn Ristow

Rita E. Ristow, 89, of Oshkosh died Tuesday January 16, 2007 at Omro Care Center. She was born February 12, 1917 in the Town of Vinland a daughter of the late Herman and Emma Jorgensen Fahley. Rita married Otto Ristow on Feb. 5, 1948 in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on April 29, 1985. Rita was formerly a nurse at Mercy Medical Center, a charter member of the Mercy Alumni Association, and member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Her survivors include a nephew Carl Bretschneider, cousins, and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday Jan. 18, 2007 at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rev. Doug LeCaptain officiating. Family and friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery
