Rita Mary Boucher

Rita Mary Boucher (DeCleene) age 90 passed away, January 28, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born May 4, 1923 the oldest daughter of 13 children of William and Christine (Scray) DeCleene in DePere, WI. Rita married, Donald Leroy Boucher, March 2, 1946. Together they raised their family, first in Green Bay then to Oshkosh and Winneconne. While farming along her husbands side, they raised 10 children. Rita had been a lifelong member of many Catholic churches with the most resent being Most Blessed Sacrament of Oshkosh. Her strong faith carried her thru many blessing and challenges. At age 58 Rita went to school to be a C.N.A. she worked for Bethel Home and Supportive Homes Care, Oshkosh. She enjoyed making her grandchildren pajamas, then baby quits and then when the grandchildren got married, Packer Afghans and more baby quits for great grandchildren. Also enjoyed swimming at the YMCA. Brother, Al (Joann) Decleene, DePere, WI Sisters; Sr. Mary Decleene, Elm Grove, WI, Bernice Strenn, Wrightstown, WI, Lorretta Verhasselt, Santa Barabara, CA, Helen Verhasselt, Wrightstown, Sr. Vonnie Decleene, Milwaukee, WI, Alice Morrell, Rhinelander, WI, Joyce DeCleene, Milwaukee, WI and Judy (Bob) Johanski, Depere, WI and one brother in law, Jerry (Rita) Boucher, Green Bay, WI; and sisters-in law, Leona and LaVerne DeCleene, Grandchildren, Edward (Abril) Behrend-Martinez, Dan (Kris), Brian (Erika) Mike (Jane) Pamer, Scott (Sarah), Nathan (Erin), and Joseph Michels, Christopher (Amy) Boucher, Danielle (Phillip) Bell, Carrie (Wes) Allen Baker, Shawn (Sara) Pinkall, Andy (Molly) Ceelen, Kristy (Allen) Haemmerle, Kevin (Katie), Josh, Ross (Jamie) and April Boucher, Andrew and Mathew Heald , Jocelyn (Cody) Singleton and Wesley Boucher, Olivia and Andrew Pedroff, and 30 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Donald in 1991, her parents, William and Christine; her in-laws, Joseph and Agnes Boucher, brothers, Howard, Harold and Victor DeCleene, brothers and sisters-in-law; Carol Boucher, Howard Strenn, Basil and Leo Verhasselt, David and Orby (Adele) Boucher, Muriel and Leo Metzler. The funeral for Rita will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at St. Josaphats Church (1333 Walnut Street, Oshkosh, WI). Visitation will held on Friday, January 31, 2014, from 3pm to 7pm, with a prayer service at 6:30pm, at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes Westside, (100 Lake Point Drive, Oshkosh, WI,) and also on Saturday 1 hour prior to the service. The family would like to thank, Vicki and Mary from Home Instead, the caregivers from Evergreen and the nurses from Hospice for the care of our mom.
