Robert R. Harris

Robert “Bob” Richard Harris, age 75 of Oshkosh, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac. He was born in Madison, WI on January 5, 1951, to the late Richard and Virginia (Rule) Harris. He was united in marriage to Kathleen M. Payne on February 1st, 1981.

A financial planner by trade, Bob was self-employed and dedicated himself to helping others achieve their financial goals. His keen intellect and attention to detail were only rivaled by his wonderfully sarcastic sense of humor, which brought levity to any conversation and created unforgettable memories for those around him.

In his leisure time, Bob was an avid outdoorsman. He reveled in the thrill of biking, the peacefulness of fly fishing with Kathy, deer hunting with his brother-in-law and nephew, and the camaraderie of hunting pheasants with his beloved dog, Lucky.

Robert is survived by his wife, Kathleen, his daughters, Cassidy Fontana, Lisa Bartels and his beloved grandchildren, Ted and Anna Bartels.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials in Bob’s name to the Salvation Army, or Trout Unlimited, would be deeply appreciated.
