Robert (Bob) J. Plank, age 80, of Oshkosh, died at his residence on Saturday, May 2, 2026 after a long battle with Parkeson’s Disease. He was born on September 20, 1945 in Wisconsin Rapids, a son of William and Jean Langer Plank. On June 22, 1974, he married Sandy Clements in Duluth, MN.
Bob loved outdoor activities. He enjoyed hunting, shooting sporting clays, kayaking, fishing and traveling. Bob was also a lifelong member of the Oshkosh YMCA and loved sporting events. Most of all “Grandpa Bobby” adored spending time with his family and took every opportunity to attend his grandchildren’s various events: football games, basketball games, dance recitals and dance competitions. He was a member of All Saints Lutheran Church where he volunteered his time for multiple positions at church. He was employed by ABC Supply for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy, two daughters Heather (Brandon) Seaborn, Tara Plank, five grandchildren Carter Seaborn, Harrison Seaborn, Molly Bass, Madison Bass, and Mallory Bass.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother.
A memorial service for Bob will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at All Saints Lutheran Church (1072 Honey Creek Rd.) Visitation will be held at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers the family is establishing a memorial in his name.
The family would like to thank Dr. Hendrick Schultz, Dr. Dacy Reimer and Excel Therapy for their care and compassion. Bob’s daughters would like to thank their mother for the amazing care and sacrifice she showed to him during the last few years of his journey.
