Robert Allen Vincent, age 80, passed away on August 28, 2024, at Eden Meadows nursing home in Oshkosh, WI. He was born to the late Robert and Shirley Vincent on May 15,1944 in Mason City, IA. He was a loving father, grandfather, devoted friend and highly respected radiologist.

Bob graduated from Green Bay West High School in 1962, Carroll College with a BS/Cum Laude in 1966, and the University of Wisconsin Medical School in 1970. After completing his internship at San Joaquin County Hospital in Stockton, CA, he continued his residency at the University of Wisconsin Medical Center in diagnostic radiology. Following that, he went on to join the Navy and retired as Lieutenant Commander. He served as Chief Radiologist for the Marine Corps Air Station in El Torro, CA. His career in radiology then led him to Chief of Radiology and member of the Executive Committee at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh, WI. Before retirement, he served as a clinical instructor at the University of Wisconsin. He held numerous positions in radiology throughout his career and was premier in his field, receiving numerous grants to pursue areas of study in diagnostic radiology, particularly nuclear medicine. He was a partner in a group practice that serviced Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh, Theda Clark in Neenah, and the Waupaca area. He also held licenses in CA and ND.

His life was marked by his career, but also an insatiable need to learn, which was seen in his numerous travels. His travels took him all over the world, from the mountains of Austria to the sand beaches of Mexico. He was always up for an adventure.

If not traveling, he could be found supporting his favorite sports team, from the comfort of his home. Always and forever his alma mater, the Wisconsin Badgers. He was an avid WI Badger fan, Green Bay Packer and Milwaukee Brewer fan. Bob was always up for a preseason prediction from his buddies. He was also frequently found on the golf greens perfecting his swing or hitting the pavement for his daily jog. At the end of the day, he was always reading a good book.

Bob is survived by his daughter Angela (Doug) Stover, daughter-in-law Shayne Vincent and grandchildren Rafer Vincent, Fallon Vincent and Matthew Stover.
