Robert J. Zwickey

Robert J. Zwickey, age 72, passed away at Ascension St. Elizabeth Hospital on July 31, 2026. He was born on January 18, 1954 in Oshkosh to the late John and Janet (Notzke) Zwickey.

Bob had a passion for gardening. He found joy in nurturing his vegetable garden and tending to his beautiful flowers, eagerly anticipating each planting season. His green thumb was a source of pride and brought smiles to many.

He loved being up north with his family, where he could often be found swimming and hiking in the Northwoods. Whether it was the thrill of a swim in the Wolf River or simply enjoying the sights and sounds of nature, Bob found joy and peace in every moment spent outdoors.

Bob loved his family. He would eagerly lend a hand during the holidays, helping his mom in the kitchen. And shared his love of gardening with his siblings, showing them how to plant the perfect flower garden. He will be lovingly remembered as a great brother.

Bob is survived by his sister, Laurel Berrell and his nephew, Trevor Berrell.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Michael, Steven, Brian and Cheryl Zwickey.

Per Bob’s wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no formal services held.
