Ronald Richard Binder

Ronald R. Binder, 71, of Oshkosh died Saturday July 12, 2008 at his residence. He was born in Oshkosh, on July 27, 1936 a son of the late Edward and Mary Sippl Binder. Ron married Dawn Hawk Colburn on March 18, 1972 in Oshkosh.Ron had been employed at Universal Foundry Co. until their closing and then for Morgan Door Co. and retired from Pluswood Company. He was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Parish, St. Peter Church. Ron loved to spend time with his family and when he had time enjoyed fishing.Survivors include his wife Dawn, of Oshkosh; one son, Robert (Cindy) Binder, of Winneconne; two daughters, Kathy Binder, Tina (Joe) Huinker, of Oshkosh; one step-son, James Colburn, of Oshkosh; one step-daughter, Cheryl (Paul) Steffen, of Atlanta, GA; one brother, Steve Binder, of Oshkosh; one sister, Patricia Schneider, of Oshkosh; seven grandchildren, Chad (Jenn) Binder, Sarah (Chad) Unmuth, Zenus Binder, KCee Binder, Xcerus Binder, Austin Huinker, Chris Huinker; two step grandchildren, James Colburn, Kyle Colburn; one great grandson, Everett Unmuth. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Mary Ann Binder.Funeral services will be held at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home- Westside on Wednesday July 16, 2008 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Phil Bogen of Lord of the Lakes Church, officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from Noon to the time of service. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Park.
