Rose A. Stieg

Rose “Rosie” Aichele Stieg was born and passed away in the arms of her parents, Jeffrey and Stephanie Stieg on Sunday, February 20, 2022. 

Rosie left this world shortly following her birth, after 17 weeks in her mother’s womb. Her short life left a profound impact for those close to her. She brought much love, joy, and excitement with her arrival into her family. Her sudden passing brought together a wave of support for those grieving and opened the hearts of all involved. Rosie is now an angel for her family. Her memory will serve as a token of the  enduring strength of love in the face of hardship.

Rosie is survived by her parents, Jeffrey and Stephanie (Lehrer) Stieg; sister, Sedona Rae Stieg; grandparents: Rita (David) Darabosh, Thomas (Linda) Lehrer, Lorraine (Scott Weckler) Lehrer, Jeff (Brenda) Stieg; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

The family would like to thank Dr. Kristin Clark and Nurse Tanya with Women’s Health Specialists, Oshkosh first responders, and the Aurora ER medical team (specifically Nurses Christie and Kristal) for their care and compassion. 

There will be a private memorial service for the family of Rosie. A tree, graciously donated by the Fond du Lac Center for Spirituality & Healing, will be planted in memory of sweet Rose.
