Sara Lynn Kutz

September 8, 1960 — May 11, 2025

Oshkosh

Sara Kutz, beloved sister, aunt, confidant, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2025, with family by her side following a courageous battle with leukemia. She was 64.

Born in Berlin, WI on a crisp late summer morning in 1960, Sara approached life with the same vibrant energy as the season of her birth. Those fortunate enough to know her speak of a woman whose compassion knew no bounds, whose laughter could brighten the darkest room, and whose strength remained undiminished even in her final days.

Sara was the cornerstone of her family. She leaves behind her beloved siblings, Nancy Netys, David (Kathryn) Kutz and her baby brother Tim Kutz. Further survived by nieces and nephews, Anna Netys, Aleena (Lloyd) Volz, Michael Netys, Adam (Sarah) Netys, Gregor Netys, Eagan Kutz and Olivia Kutz as well as great-nieces and great-nephews, aunts, uncles, many cousins, and additional family. Her love for her family was evident in the small, thoughtful acts that defined her days—the daily calls, the dedicated support, and the continuation of family traditions she nurtured that will continue to bring her family together. Sara's legacy lives on not only in her family but in the countless lives she touched.

Sara was preceded in death by her loving parents Omar & Marilyn Kutz and brother Tom Kutz.

Even as leukemia altered the course of her journey, Sara remained determined to find joy in each day. She spoke often of how her illness brought into sharp focus what truly mattered—the connections we forge, the kindness we share, the love we give freely. Her grace and strength throughout her illness inspired all who witnessed it.

As we bid farewell to Sara, we take comfort in knowing that the light she brought to this world continues to shine in all who loved her. She reminded us, through both her words and her example, that life's true measure lies not in its length but in its depth, not in the time we are given but in what we do with that time.

A visitation with the family will occur on Friday, May 30th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home, 100 Lake Pointe Drive Oshkosh, WI 54904. A short memorial service will be held at noon.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to leukemia research reflecting Sara’s hope that others might be spared the challenges she faced with dignity.

May Sara rest in peace, wrapped in the love that surrounded her in life and that continues beyond it.
